POLICY FOR GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES

  • Special tickets are available for wheelchair users. As a courtesy, patrons who use a wheelchair are permitted to purchase additional tickets for his or her companion. Wheelchair seating and companion seats are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis at the theatre Box Office or by calling (417) 334-7469. Please inform the Box Office representative of your seating needs when purchasing tickets.

• HANDICAP PARKING: There are handicap parking spots available near the front entrance of The Clay Cooper Theatre. It is suggested to arrive early for a preferred parking spot. If there are no handicap parking spots available, guests may drop off members of their group at the main entrance then proceed to an available parking spot. There is also a courtesy shuttle cart available for those who need assistance to the front of the building.

• WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE RESTROOMS: The Clay Cooper Theatre is equipped with wheelchair accessible restrooms on the Orchestra level, Gentleman’s house right, Ladies house left.

• SEAT ACCESSIBILITY: There are designated wheelchair and companion seating in the rear of the Orchestra sections. There are also seats with liftable arm rests on the aisles throughout the Orchestra level for guests who wish to transfer from their wheelchair.

• SERVICES FOR GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES: Theatre representatives are available to meet patrons with disabilities in the lobby of the theatre to escort them to their seats.

  • Although animals are not permitted in the theatre, an exception is made for guide dogs and service animals. Please inform your ticket sales representative if any accommodations are required.

ASSISTIVE LISTENING DEVICES

  • Headsets for sound augmentation are available at the theatre. For guests with Tele Coil, T-Coil Loops are available. Photo identification is required as a deposit. Please inquire at the Box Office when you arrive for more information.
